On Tuesday, March 11, the chairman of the board, the executive director, the education director and the promotion director of Aflið went to Neskaupsstaður and visited the Hospital.
The hospital’s healthcare staff welcomed us warmly, and we introduced them to Aflið’s activities and the services we provide in the area. Aflið offers its clients counselling and courses, which we also plan to offer in East Iceland. The group had a good and constructive discussion, where it was clear that there is a need for increased Aflið’s services in the area, as elsewhere.
We would like to thank the healthcare staff of Neskaupsstaður for the warm welcome and look forward to further collaboration and return visits in the future.
