The Board
Aflið
Aflið is an organization that helps people who have been subjected to violence in intimate relationships, sexual violence or any other form of violence. You can get both individual counselling and participate in group work. Family members are welcome. It costs nothing to talk to a counselor.
In individual interviews, support is provided to put the experience of violence into words and examine the consequences that the violence has had. This can be a difficult step for many and is fully understood within the Force. Counselors meet with people on a peer basis. You control how fast and deeply the interviews are worked on.

Form of the board
Aflið’s Board is composed of 7 individuals who are elected at the annual general meeting of Aflið. In addition to the Board, there is one observer who is a working advisor within Aflið and is elected by Aflið’s advisors every two years.
